Registration

Enrollment packages can be picked up from the school or be mailed to you upon request. No child will be refused admission because of race, creed, color, or religion. Program participation by children with diverse cultures and needs contribute to the richness and social development of the classroom.

Observation

Please call for an appointment to observe the children in an ideal learning environment. The best way to understand Montessori is to see it in action.  Classroom observations are for adults only.

Tuition and Fees 2011-2012

VMS operates on a school year calendar.

A nine-week Summer School session is optional – information will be available in the spring of 2012.

• Registration Fee: $200.00 (non-refundable)
• Annual Deposit: $150.00 (for returning child)
• Equal payments:  Begining the month of enrollment and ending May 1, 2012 plus a half payment on June 1, 2012.

Family Discounts:

• 10% discount for additional siblings enrolled at Vancouver Montessori School.

Additional Fees:

• $15.00 monthly snack fee
• $5.00 monthly milk fee for children enrolled past 11:45 a.m.

Occasional Care Fees:

• If a child cannot be picked up by their regularly scheduled dismissal time, a $5.00 fee per each subsequent 5-30 minute interval will be added to the following month’s billing.

Tuition Refunds:

• Enrollment is a commitment for the full school year. Tuition is set on that basis.
• No refunds are given for missed school days, illness, inclement weather, or vacations.

If for unforeseen circumstances, there is a need for withdrawal, a 30-day written notice must be given and families are responsible for tuition one month from notice date.

Beginning September 1, 2011, the above Before-School and After-School Care options will be pre-billed on an equal monthly basis, with a half payment on June 1, 2012.
